Logo image
Founded in 1996, the Humanitas Research Hospital stands out for its integration of healthcare, scientific research, and medical education. The hospital features state-of-the-art facilities and offers a wide range of high-quality medical services. It is renowned for its innovative research in various medical fields and actively collaborates with international research institutes. The Humanitas Research Hospital is committed to continually improving the quality of healthcare through innovation and excellence in medical research.

The Need:
Development of the technological and multimedia infrastructure for the new university campus, including:

1. Educational Building
2. Research Building
3. Simulation Center

The Solution:
Multimedia setup of the Teaching Halls using innovative Audio-Video and Control technologies. The design solution adapts to the architectural features of the spaces, making them easier to use through Room Automation, which controls technological devices, lighting, curtains, and space reconfiguration. The integrated technology allows for streaming content sharing between the classrooms and the simulation center, multimedia capabilities, document sharing, and direct connectivity between the rooms.

- 10 divisible and reconfigurable Teaching Halls
- 13 Teaching Halls
- 1 Auditorium with 200 seats (divisible and reconfigurable)

Video Conferencing:
The design solution equips the classrooms with the capability to conduct internal and external video conferences over the internet.

The infrastructure supports interworking with external parties through secure internet connections and is prepared to provide voice, video, and instant messaging services. Professors are also enabled to use their personal video conferencing clients with advanced meeting features and multi-conferencing sessions.

Digital Signage:
An audiovisual communication platform for distributing multimedia content and digital messages on remotely programmable and configurable screens within the building. Different-sized video devices are placed throughout the spaces, enhancing the entrance and dining areas with content and scenography.

Meeting Room Management and Booking:
Thanks to Space Booking and integration (Easy Staff), the university presents students with the schedules of all Teaching Halls in a straightforward manner. The Space Touch Lumen and the floor-based Way Finder devices provide logistical directions within the building.

Streaming Platform:
Implementation of a cloud-based video streaming platform that allows the creation of corporate TV formats. It enables the creation and scheduling of broadcast programs, live channels, and management of video-on-demand.

Audio/Video:
- Internal and external communication
- Distance learning
- Live event broadcasting
- Webcasts

Simulation Center:
The flagship of the entire project, the simulation center is equipped with the latest technologies for live audio/video streaming to the Anatomy Lab and Teaching Halls.

- 10 Teaching Halls
- 3 Simulation Rooms and respective control rooms
- 3 Briefing Rooms
- 1 Anatomy Lab
